Overview

The Japanese Society for Matrix Biology and Medicine (JSMBM) was established to advance research and deepen interactions among scientists interested in connective tissue and related fields. Membership is open to researchers, clinicians, students, and others engaged in or interested in extracellular matrix and connective tissue research.

Membership Categories & Annual Fees

Regular Member ¥8,000
Student Member ¥3,000
Corporate Member ¥50,000
Councilor ¥13,000 (See Society Bylaws for details)

Membership fees are subject to change according to the Society’s regulations.

How to Join

  1. 1. Complete the online membership registration form with your personal and professional details.
  2. 2. After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email with payment instructions.
  3. 3. Pay your first year’s membership fee by credit card as directed in the email.
  4. 4. Your official membership date is the date on which payment is confirmed.

Note:
As part of our database and future search functions, applicants are encouraged to select 3–5 relevant keywords from our keyword list and enter corresponding keyword numbers in the application form.

Registered members can access the following services through the JSMBM member portal:
